2. Personnel Matters

a. Blake Fawley, the Manager for Benson Communications is leaving for Florida to begin his college career in his quest for a degree in computer design. It is with true sadness, appreciation, and hope that we will be saying “goodbye.” Sadness over the fact that he will be leaving us after becoming the employee with the third longest employment. At the current age of nineteen (19), he has been a part of “The Team” for four (4) years. He has always been inspirational as he shared his faith and sense of humor with all of us. But his leaving is also viewed with great appreciation for the work he has done and the friendships he has created. He will always be remembered by those in the Benson and U4 familiy, as well as those he has provided service to. We wish you well!!!!

b. New Manager Search – The search has begun for a new Manager for Benson Communications. It is our intent to bring in an individual who espouses our family attitude and who has knowledge and talent in the realm of computer repair, installation, and web design, just to mention a few. If you know of any quality-mided individuals like this, please forward this email to them.

c. Samuel Patrick, Technician has reached a level that few young men ever achieve. This quiet young man has recently completed the demanding requirements to receive the award of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. He completed work in areas of interacting with nature, knot tying, civil service, cooking and many others in gaining this award. We are very proud of Sam and his “Stick-to-itiveness.”

3. “From the Workbench”

Some of you may know what Benson Communications does for its customers and others do not. I thought I would take a couple of minutes and explain some of the things Benson does.

Video Production – Produce videos for customers like personal memory videos, corporate videos, and DVD productions.

Video Rental – Benson rents projectors, plasmas, screens, cameras, and much more.

Computer Networking – Install and configure networks for commercial customers; both small and large scale customers.

Computer Repair – Benson fixes customer computers both residential and business on a monthly and case by case basis. Benson has monthly maintenance plans that start out at $6.95 per month.

Web Design – Both ecommerce and standard static websites.

Database Creation and Modification

4. The Regular Computer Maintenance Program is off and running. Over 200 pamphlets were received by those who attended the “Taste of Home” show. There was much excitement over this revolutionary program.

5. Did you know that Benson Communications is an official reseller of Cisco Components? Call for your personalized quote today.

6. We want to take a moment to acknowledge the efforts of Tammy Cotton, Director, Syracuse Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, all of her staff, volunteers and all of those vendors who participated in the “Taste of Home” show. It was a great success!! We also want to thank Tammy for allowing Benson Communications to provide the sound and video equipment for the event.
