1. Apple had a great year in 2007!! They released another version of OS X called Leopard, a new iPod generation was born, and the iPhone debuted to high acclaim and long lines. Now in 2008, Apple has released the world’s thinnest laptop, the “Macbook Air,” was released last month. This new laptop is less than ½” thick while closed and was developed through a collaborative effort between Intel and Apple. The new and smaller Core 2 Duo Processor still has the same great speed while offering 2GHz of RAM and a full-size keyboard. The commercial for this new wonder shows it being pulled from a brown envelope! Wow!!!!! If you would like one of these little gems call today and we will get it for you as soon as possible.
2. THE BIG NEWS IS OUT!!! – Benson Communications announces the launch of its totally automated Regular Computer Maintenance Program. The nightmare is over. Benson Communications, Inc. is now offering a monthly maintenance program. Customers on the program would receive priority service for all computer needs when their computer is in need of in-shop repairs. Your computer will be monitored remotely by the Benson Team. You can get your computer fixed for as little as $6.99* so be sure to call for details. Call today (574) 528-6118.
3. Benson President Puts Money Where Mouth Is, so to speak. Ben Plikerd finally had his H2 (Hummer 2nd Edition for the uninitiated) converted to ethanol. He describes it this way…“It took approximately 90 minutes to do but anyone with good vehicle knowledge could do the install very easily. It was really amazing. The feeling I got when I filled up with Ethanol E-85 the first time was incredible. It felt like I have finally accomplished something over those guys overseas we keep giving money out to every time we go to the gas station. While I do not believe Ethanol is the end all to be all, it sure is a start. I actually noticed an increase on fuel efficiency. While a drop in fuel efficiency is expected mine actually increased about 2mpg, which is huge. I don’t know if the results I have gotten so far are 100% accurate, but I will keep you posted. It has no problems starting and runs like it has a lot more power. It is a great feeling knowing I am no longer driving around a “gas-guzzler” now it’s a “corn eating machine”. I will keep you all posted on how the conversion continues as many people have been very curious. U4 will be sending out a press release and will upload a “youtube” video in a couple of weeks.”
It is easy to see that Ben is excited about the move to ethanol!!
