After a rather intensive processing period we received news on January 5, 2008 that we had become part of the Da-Lite family. Known as “The Power in Presentation Producer,” we look forward to offering these quality products through our Benson Communications store and on our e-Commerce site that will go online this spring.
2. Next time you are in to the Benson shop, be sure to say “Hello” to Samuel Patrick. Sam is a senior in High School where he is taking extensive course-work in computer technician training. He is planning to go to college to pursue a degree in information technologies. He has recently been awarded the highest Boy Scout award available – he will be formally inducted as an Eagle Scout this spring. Don Simmons has joined Benson and he is in charge of the financial processes for the company. He received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Indiana University and was ordained as a minister in 2006. Both are assets to our operation!

We are currently offering a well equipped Dell computer at the unbelievable price of $250.00!! For more information, call Sam @ 574.528.6118.
4. This newsletter is obviously sent via email to our customers, but there are so many customers that we do not have email addresses for. So if you know of someone who may benefit from our monthly newsletter, please forward this information to them and we can add them to our list of newsletter recipients.
5. We recently installed a new sign on the Huntington Street side of the Pickwick Center building. It has been a real boon for the complex. We are adding new tenants quickly. What do you think about the sign? Let us know.
6. Now that Benson Communications is preparing for its eighth birthday celebration, Ben Plikerd, President, was asked about how things had changed during this exciting period of growth.
“I think to myself that if that a child born in 1999, the year I started Benson Communications, he or she would be in 2nd grade now. When I look at things in this way, it brings things into prospective for me. This has really intensified since becoming a new dad within the last month, causing me to take notice of a lot of little things. Life is always about the little things. Always the little things. Benson has grown a lot in the last eight years. Like all businesses, we have been up and down, expanded and downsized several times in direct response to what was happening with the economy. However, one thing that we have remained strong in is our customer service. To date, Benson Communications has worked on over 10,000 computers and now, in response to our customers’ requests, we are on the breach of launching something incredible in February for our 8th anniversary. This service will allow us to exponentially increase our level of personalized services to those we service. Check out the next issue of “The Ben-Com Report” for more information. ”
